  This company has my highest recommendation. We replaced old insulation that was damaged by rats infiltrating our crawl space from a canyon below our house. The CEO (Matt) personally inspected our home and developed an estimate to clean and rodent-proof the home, and included options to replace the insulation with foam or fiberglass, depending on our budget. I am so glad we chose foam for a long-term solution. It is also far superior. We can already feel the difference in temperature inside. The entire team (from cleaning to installation) was knowledgable, professional, and friendly. Also, the company stands by its rodent-proofing work with a 10-year warranty.   Leaving this review months after their service. We had a roof leak and during repairs found signs the attic had previously been infested with rodents. These guys came out and did great work remediating/sanitizing and installing new batting. Excellent communication all around, hard working team, and they even went the extra mile with some small requests I had at no charge. What really set them apart was when I reached back out to address a minor mistake they made which was found after they completed work, Matt immediately resolved the issue.   I worked with Advanced Insulation System to install new Insulation and drywall in our garage. Despite some minor setbacks, Matthew and his crew were able to do it right and we got an amazing transformation!   I recently had Advanced Spray Foam insulate the attic rafters of a house I'm working on for a family member in El Cajon.   If anyone is considering the value of the material,  we had our attic temps drop from 130 on average to basically air temp outside.   Price was very competitive and the team that did the install and clean up were very respectful of the house and kept things clean. I also used the attic clean out service they offer to remove an old re-roof job that had filled the space with debris and old blow in that was full of mice remnants.  Again another team that was extra careful and did a great job. Matt and John the owners give timely status updates and the contract process was fair and no pressure.   We had a smell coming from our kitchen ceiling duct after using our air conditioning system during the hot weather. Mathew came over and did a free inspection and was very thorough.  They checked everything in the attic and also inside the kitchen ducts and they didn't find anything except dust. They recommended getting a company to come out and clean the dust out of the ducts and to use a deodorizer. They did an excellent inspection and helped us resolve our issue very quickly. We will definitely use their services again and he said they also offer installing new insulation in the attic and adding sanitation to help with conserving energy.

Why Isn’t Your Home Maintaining the Right Temperature?

If your home struggles to stay comfortable, it’s likely due to temperature regulation issues, often caused by inadequate insulation and ventilation. Your attic, in particular, can act as a heat trap, affecting your home’s climate control year-round. During warmer months, attics can reach extreme temperatures, while in cooler months, they allow heat to escape, leading to energy inefficiency.

If your existing insulation is of poor quality, addressing this is a natural first step. However, effectively solving this problem involves cooling the attic as a whole. Strategically placed insulation can drastically lower attic temperatures during hot months and prevent warm air from escaping in cooler months.

Insulating your attic floor will help slow heat transfer into the living areas below but won’t impact the attic’s own temperature. Heat from the sun beating down on the roof raises the attic’s temperature significantly. Per Title 24 New Building Code, many modern construction projects now call for insulation to be installed within roof rafters to address this issue directly.

By adding insulation to your roof rafters, you can prevent heat from entering or escaping, effectively transforming your attic into a barrier against external temperature fluctuations. In summer, this stops heat from transferring through the roof before it enters the attic, reducing the “oven effect” above your home. In winter, it helps trap warm air inside, better regulating your home’s temperature.
